Upper The upper construction of the Newton Fate is kept minimal, in order to avoid putting more weight in the shoe. The majority of the upper is made of Engineered mesh, which offers lightweight breathability. Overlays are present to improve the support and fit of the shoe. An ETC Sockliner is incorporated in the shoe's interior to facilitate a healthy foot environment while running. A comfortable underfoot feel is ensured by the Strobel Last. Midsole The midsole of the Newton Fate features ample cushioning, thanks to its features. The main midsole material is the EVA foam, which is a standard for some running shoes. In the heel and forefoot, the Action/ Reaction Technology can be observed. Another feature in the forefoot is the Biomechanical Metatarsal Sensor Plate, which provides more sensory feedback for the foot. Lastly, there is the P.O.P. 2, which is considered as an advanced midsole platform from Newton. Outsole The outer sole of the Newton Fate features a simple treading pattern that works well on hard and even surfaces. The main material of the underside is the SHARC outsole, which promises abrasion- resistance, especially against road debris.
